Becca was given the chore of emptying the dishwasher. When I checked on her job, I noticed that there were a LOT of bowls in the dishwasher. I questioned her and she said she had loaded the dirty dishes that were on the counter into the dishwasher. Later, I fixed some noodles for myself and looked for a bowl to put them in - NONE in the cupboard. I thought this was rather strange. She admits to not completely emptying the dishwasher. I tell her to take all the bowls out of the dishwasher and wash them. After she had washed awhile, she says, "the clean bowls are a lot easier to wash." No kidding - lol.
I decided that I needed to let the kids know what is important in life. I said, "I want upi to do what is RIGHT, I don't want you to get yourselves out of trouble." Jonathan looks up with a SHOCKED look and says, "YOU DON'T!!!" Oh, explaining again - lol.
